The Center hosts a series of lectures and workshops throughout the year. Many are of interest to the general public, including parents concerned about their own children's reading, and adults in the community who wish to get involved in writing or illustrating children's books. Some are specifically targeted to teachers addressing the issue of making children's books more central to the curriculum.
