The Center for Children's Literature hosts lectures, workshops, book signings and other special events throughout the year. Many of these events are of interest to the general public, including parents interested in their own children's reading, and adults who wish to get involved in writing or illustrating children's books. Some events are specifically targeted to teachers and focus on making children's books more central to the curriculum.
