

The Center for Children's Literature at Carthage encourages visitors to come to Hedberg Library to browse the collection. The collection is open during regular library hours.
The center offers tours of the collection for interested students, educators, parents and community groups. Please call the center at (262) 552-5480 to arrange a tour for you or your group. Tours are offered to groups of up to 25 people who are interested in children's books.
Monday-Thursday: 7 a.m.-midnight
Friday: 7 a.m.-10 p.m.
Saturday: 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
Sunday: Noon-midnight

Take Interstate 94 to Highway KR in Kenosha County (exit 337). Take Highway KR east toward Lake Michigan. Highway KR ends at Sheridan Road (Highway 32). Turn right onto Sheridan Road.
Follow Sheridan Road south past the Smeds Tennis Center. At the bottom of the hill at the stoplight, turn left onto campus. Continue on Campus Drive over the bridge and up the hill. At the Abraham Lincoln statue, turn left. Parking is available in Lot H.
Hedberg Library is located in the center of campus. From Lot H, walk past the Lincoln Statue and past Lentz Hall. Hedberg Library is located on the west side of the road, the first building after Lentz.

The center hosted Laura Numeroff, best-selling author of "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" series, in September.

Annual Seuss-a-thon event draws book-lovers of all ages to the Center for Children's Literature.
