3-2 Program with Washington University in St. Louis, MO

Understanding how the 3-2 Program works The 3-2 occupational therapy program leads to a Bachlor's degree from Carthage College and the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) degree from Washington University in St. Louis. The student spends the first three years at Carthage College and the final two years at Washington University.

Prerequisite course work required for admission Prior to entering Washington University, the student must have completed at least 45 hours of transferable college credit towards their baccalaureate degree from Carthage College. The specific course requirements will include a minimum of:

Recommended GPA Students who plan to have satisfactorily completed the prerequisite courses by the end of their junior year, have earned a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale), and are recommended by the Carthage College faculty, are invited to apply for admission to the MSOT program at Washington University School of Medicine.

Application Deadline Applications to Washington University should be submitted by January 31 for entrance the following fall and must include G.R.E scores within the previous five (5) years. After admission and successfully completeing the first academic year at the Washington University Program in Occupational Therapy, the student earns a bachlor's degree from Carthage College. After satisfactory completion of all requirements, including one more year of graduate academic work followed by 6 months of field work, the student earns a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Washington University School of Medicine.
