Administration
The Business Administration Department creates a stimulating
learning environment that combines training in accounting, business administration, information
systems and marketing with a solid base in the broad liberal
arts tradition of the college.
A mixture of concepts, skills,
theory, and experience are utilized to develop the ability
and enthusiasm to work in the dynamic conditions of the
21st Century. The
choice of majors within the department allows students to
tailor their education to their interest while preparing
them for a variety of careers in both the private and the
public sectors or to continue their education in business,
law and other professional areas.
The mission of the Department of Business Administration is to create a learning environment that produces graduates in a variety of business specialties who have:
- Current skills and knowledge that make them desirable to a variety of organizations.
- Enduring analytical, communication, and critical thinking skills to be life-long learners, advance in their careers, and contribute to the global community.
