Jockey International, Inc., is offering an opportunity to work in our E-Commerce division, assisting the Web Content team in repurposing, designing, and maintaining graphics to support the merchandising, marketing, and branding functions of Jockey.com.

 

One full-time paid internship available from June through August 2008.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

• Assist with repurposing existing brand assets and design graphic content for Jockey.com including (but not limited to): landing pages, department pages, banner ads, and static content pages to keep the site fresh and relevant.

·       Under direction of the Web Content Specialist, create and modify campaigns for A/B version testing of email and web page layout/design.

·       Assist with preparing product image assets for online usage.

• Assist with testing webpage layout and functionality for Internet browser compatibility.
• Assist with HTML editing and basic HTML coding of email campaigns.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

• Currently pursuing undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, a related field or the equivalent.
• 1+ years of graphic design experience, or equivalent studies with a portfolio of relevant work.

·       Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe ImageReady, and Dreamweaver. Flash experience a plus.

·       Hands-on experience with HTML coding and an understanding of the usage of style sheets.

·       Understanding of user-interface design, navigation, layout principles, color, and typography.

·       Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.

·       Strong attention to detail and a high level of creativity.
