"Clickable" Inferno
This site offers selections from Dante Alighieri's Inferno in an "interactive" format. The text used is up to you, the user; choose from Allen Mandelbaum's, Robert Pinsky's, or John Ciardi's translation and notes to Dante's original text. In addition, some images and links to other sites of interest about Dante on the web are available.
To use this site to its full potential, simply select the Canto you are interested in and choose to read the text in Mandelbaum's, Pinsky's, or Ciardi's English translation with highlighted links to their respective notes. Each Canto is also offered in Dante's original Italian. You may even compare the translations if you view this site with frames. Enjoy!
