Minutes

Present: Snavely (Chair), C. Chell, Wheeler, Trautwein, Klingenberg, Klyve, Tou

The meeting came to order at 11:40.

All agenda items were thoroughly discussed. Assessment questions will be imbedded in final exam in the fall, so the results can be analyzed in the spring.

The department unanimously approved the following changes to course names:
- Change Math 104 Foundations of Mathematics to Math 104 Principles of Modern Mathematics
- Change Math 307 Introduction to Applied Mathematics to Math 307 Engineering Mathematics
These changes will be made for the 2008-2009 catalog.

Respectfully submitted,

Mark Snavely
