1.  Upcoming Events, conferences, etc. 

2. Assessment. We'll choose the sections, and begin assign assessment questions.

3. 2008-2009 schedule. Where I'm at now.

4. Moving forward on the major:Your assignments. My goal: complete the revision of the major and all department offerings for the Fall of 2009.

5. Scholarship statement revisited, at the request of CADRE.

6. Who's who nominations - it doesn't hurt to nominate!

7. WI reminder, CSymp reminder, topics course proposals. Let's get moving on the proposals! Some relevant links: course approval , WI form. For the CSymp forms, go to Academic Affairs, under committees.

8. Classroom visits: Let me know when I should visit your class if your are a) untenured on tenure track, b) on contract and up for renewal, ro c) just want me to visit.

All agenda items were discussed. The following courses were chosen for content assessment:

Math 112-4 Calculus I
Math 105-2 Functions Graphs and Analysis
Math 271-1 Actuarial Science
Math 306-1 Differential Equations
Math 322-1 Abstract Algebra

We will develop assessment questions over the next few weeks.
