Course Description:  This course is an extension of Math 309 Real Analysis.  We will examine analysis of metric spaces (as treated in Rudin), and continue the analysis of transcendental functions.

Rationale:  This course has been offered in the past as an independent study.  This year, demand is particularly high, so running a topics course is appropriate.
