About the Ensemble . . .
The fifty voice Carthage Women's Ensemble has been under the direction of Dr. Michael Burkhardt for the past three years and is comprised of women representing nearly every major at Carthage College. The ensemble performs programs of classical, folk, and global music for female voices on and off campus and takes an extended weekend tour during the Spring term. Dr. Peter Denee will assume direction of the ensemble in the Fall of 2005.
Membership in the ensemble is by individual audition.
