Campus |
| Carthage is one of the few private colleges in Wisconsin accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. In part, that accreditation recognizes the quality of our facilities and of our library and its holdings and our proximity to many of the nation's finest professional music performances in Chicago and Milwaukee. |
Johnson Arts Center |
| In our H. F. Johnson Arts Center complex we enjoy uncommonly fine music classrooms, ensemble rehearsal rooms, teaching studios, a state-of-the-art Yamaha electronic keyboard lab, practice rooms many of which feature new Yamaha pianos, and a Recital Hall with a Casavant tracker practice organ. |
A.F. Siebert Chapel |
Directly above that complex is our 1800-seat
A.F. Siebert Chapel, which serves as a superb concert hall,
especially for our three Christmas concerts each December,
when we exploit its spacial possibilities. Here's a
photo of how the chapel looks inside, as well as one
showing the chapel on top of the Johnson Arts
Center. Here's a photo of the chapel in the summer and
one at
night in the winter.

Our Casavant organ |
The centerpiece of our church music and organ
programs and a powerful force in campus worship life is the
magnificent Fritsch Memorial Casavant pipe organ
in Siebert Chapel, one of the finest tracker-action organs
in the Midwest. Here you may see both a photo and its
specifications.
