In March of 2007 the Carthage College Gospel Messengers boarded a
bus took their music ministry on the road and traveled to
Detroit, Michigan for the 2007 Spring Tour. The tour involved
performances at Greater King Solomon Baptist
Church and
St. John's Evangelical Lutheran
Church in Detroit.
The Spring Tour also included an opportunity for the members of
the Gospel Messengers to tour the famous Motown Museum, a
landmark in American music history. The 2007 Spring Tour included
many great opportunities for powerful praise and worship and
helped strengthen the bonds of friendship between many choir
members. The 2007 Spring Tour proved to be another successful
venture for the Gospel Messengers as they continue to spread
their ministry beyond the campus of Carthage College.
