Biology and Chemistry Majors

Both the biology and chemistry majors require a substantial number of courses to complete the major as does the neuroscience major. Students in biology or chemistry are required to complete 56 credit hours of coursework to complete their major. The neuroscience major requires 50 credit hours.

While there is some overlap of coursework between the biology or chemistry major and the neuroscience major, students may also want to explore the option of majoring in neuroscience with a minor in biology and/or chemistry. For additional information on these options please contact Pat Pfaffle.
