The Society for Neuroscience (SFN) is the major national professional association for the field of neuroscience. Each year approximately 25,000 individuals attend the national meeting of the SFN to present data and learn about recent advances in the field. This web site also has links to related web sites.

The Association of Neuroscience Departments and Programs is a great web site for undergraduates. It has a listing of undergraduate and graduate neuroscience programs in North America. It has information on how to get into graduate school in neuroscience, including types of courses to take as an undergraduate. They also have links for funding and research opportunities.
