of an unexcavated amphitheater, which can be viewed from the roof
of the villa. Well known for their hospitality and generous
meals, the staff is actually members of one family that has run
the villa for many years. The Vergilian Society often stays there
when they take scholars, students, and teachers around the area
of Naples.
