Drive to the City Square, a historic and pleasant plaza that at one
time was divided into white areas and black areas and that now is
the heart of the city. |

Visit the historic center of Trinidad, with a walking tour with a
City Specialist. As you wander the city streets, be sure to look into
the windows of the old houses at the unique roof structures –
the oldest example of truly Cuban architecture in the island. Feel
free to talk with the house owners as Trinidad is a house proud city,
with the current occupants often the descendants of either the original
owners or even the servants or slaves of the original owners, and
they will often invite visitors in to see their house. |
