Religion - Language Double Major

A double major in Religion and Language (or major/minor or minor/major) is a great way to complete a bachelor's degree. There is no more intimate way into another people's thinking than learning their language and their faith. This can serve as excellent preparation for work abroad, whether it is church, government or business related.

Students considering graduate studies in Christian ministry, theology or church history may find it useful to select a classical language as a minor field, because these are the languages through which the modern world received the Christian faith.

Some sample four year plans are laid out below, but any student planning on this double major should consult with his or her advisors to custom tailor an ideal program for that student.
