


Major: Economics
Dr. Thomas Kemp, '95, is an associate professor of economics at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Dr. Kemp graduated from Carthage with honors in economics and a minor in German. He received his Ph.D. from Colorado State University in 2002. He teaches courses in the Macroeconomic Theory, Economic Philosophy, and Public Policy. His current work is in the areas of public policy and collective bargaining issues.
Dr. Kemp is the author of a number of published works in the Journal of Economic Issues, The Review of Social Economy, The Forum for Social Economics, as well as a recent book; Progress and Reform: The Economic Thought of John R. Commons.
