A.W. Clausen Center for World Business

The A.W. Clausen Center for World Business is both a first-class learning facility and an active presence in the business community. The Center has brought prominent speakers to Carthage, hosted economic seminars and conferences, and is committed to community service through outreach to secondary and primary schools. The facility itself has the handsome appearance of a corporate headquarters, with state-of-the-art technology to help students develop professional presentation skills. Students have their own board room, and classrooms are small to encourage lively group discussion.

International Political Economy

The International Political Economy program at Carthage is designed for students who want to focus their work in economics, political science and management on the evolving web of global relationships and the public policy discussions that help direct today's global economy. It is offered as a major at Carthage. Students take courses in business, economics, geography, modern languages, political science and social science.
