Major Requirements

Cross-Categorical Special Education Major


Students seeking the major in cross-categorical special education must also have a Middle Childhood through Early Adolescent education major, or a content major and an Early Adolescence and Adolescence minor.

Please note: Current students should follow the printed version of the College Catalog, and work with their advisors and the department chair to ensure all requirements are met.

EDU 4120 Advanced Study and Field Experience in Teaching Exceptional Learners
EDU 4300 Collaboration Between General and Special Educators
EDU 4140 Advanced Study and Field Experience in Teaching Exceptional Learners: Secondary
