Meet Our Advisor

Marilyn Ward, our StWEA advisor, received both the state and national Outstanding 2009 Chapter Advisor Awards.

Marilyn is a professor of Children’s Literature, Creative Arts, Social Studies Methods, and co-director for the Carthage Center for Children’s Literature. In her free time she loves to travel, dance ballet, read, and collect dollhouses which can be found at Storybook Studio in Racine. She also directs children's theatre, coordinates the Seuss-a-thon and Battle of the Books.
