Celebrate the holidays with the Carthage community by attending "JOY! A Festival of Readings and Carols" featuring the majestic sounds of the Fritsch Memorial Organ. The program follows an age-old tradition of sharing the celebration of the birth of Christ through readings and music and includes Carthage's annual Service of Light.
The festival will be held Dec. 4-6.
Students in the Carthage Choir, Carthage Women's Ensemble, Lincoln Chamber Singers, Gospel Messengers, A. F. Siebert Chapel Choir, Wind Orchestra and other Instrumental Ensembles, as well as students from the Theatre Department, present identical programs at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 4 p.m. Sunday. The programs are held in A. F. Siebert Chapel.
Reservations are required for these free concerts. Tickets are available by calling (262) 551-5810 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday-Friday (except Nov. 26-27), or by sending an e-mail to: ChristmasFestival@carthage.edu.
