Some students are hesitant to consider attending a private college, thinking the cost is beyond their reach. That's not the case.
At Carthage College, more than 90% of all full-time students receive financial assistance. The average financial aid package (grants, scholarships, loans, and work opportunity) covers a substantial amount of the cost of full-time enrollment.
Carthage's no-need scholarship program enables even students from families with higher incomes to be eligible for financial assistance.
The Carthage Office of Student Financial Planning is your resource for making a higher education possible. Our goals are to provide you with information about sources of funding, assist students in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and provide counsel when you have questions or are experiencing unusual circumstances.
Remember: Applying early for both admission and financial aid maximizes your opportunity to receive financial aid.
