The Honors Contract is an agreement between an individual student and a professor that outlines the additional work required for the student to receive Honors credit for a class. On the second page of the form you will find information about how to make an Honors Contract work for you.
Anyone who is an Honors student and who wants to work more closely with a professor to delve deeper into the subject matter of a particular course may complete an Honors Contract. Generally, Honors Contracts in 1000- and 2000-level courses count toward the Foundation Component requirements of the Honors Program and 3000- and 4000-level courses count toward the Concentration Component requirements.
The Honors Contracts generally need to be completed and submitted to the All-College Programs office by the third week of classes during the semester.
Come to the Honors/Heritage Office (Lentz Hall 235) to pick up a form during normal business hours. You can also get the form online. Simply print it out and bring it to your professor.
If you have any questions, please contact the All-College Programs Office at (262) 551-5742, or Paul Ulrich at (262) 551-2112.
