The Staubitz Archives welcomes all individuals to use its materials, whether you are a part of the Carthage community or a member of the general public.

Reference Requests

The Staubitz Archives accepts short reference questions relating to our collections. Due to limited staff resources, we are unable to assist with most questions requiring extensive research. We are usually able to complete a request within two weeks, depending on staff availability and the nature of the request.

If you have a reference request, please email us at archives@carthage.edu  and include any specifics which will aid us in answering your question, such as: how the information will be used, sources you have already consulted, and specific terms, dates, etc. relating to your topic.  Please remember to include your contact information and your affiliation to Carthage (if any).
