Equipment Checkout
You may request to reserve media equipment listed below. Simply fill out the form at http://www.carthage.edu/forms/lis/equipment-reserve/
You will receive an email confirmation of your request. Equipment is
also available on a "walk up" basis, provided there is not a pending
reservation.
PC Laptop The library now has smaller, efficient Thinkpads with Windows 7 installed.These laptops are 24 hour checkouts, non-renewable.
Mac Laptop The library currently has 15 laptop models available. Like the ThinkPads, the Macs are also 24 hour checkouts, non-renewable.
Voice Recorder Voice recorders allow you to record in mp3 format. These are four hour checkouts and are renewable for another four hours.
Digital Photography Kit Take as many pictures as you like, but make sure you transfer your pictures to your computer before returning the camera. These are four hour checkouts, available for another four hours.
Flip Video Camera These video cameras record to the MP4 video format. These are four hour checkouts, available for another four hours.
Digital Video Camcorders The library has DV camcorders available. You will need to supply your own DV tape. These are four hour checkouts and are renewable for another four hours.
Digital Cameras Take as many pictures as you would like, but make sure to transfer your pictures to your own computer or falsh drive before returning the camera. These are four hour checkouts and are renewable for another four hours.
Kindle Seven day checkout, and holds a regulary updated assortment of New York Times best sellers, both fiction and non-fiction.
Data Projector Are you in a situation where the classroom or boardroom is without a data projector to show your powerpoint? These are four hour checkouts and are renewable for another four hours.
Screens Unable to find a projector screen? These portable screens may be what you need. These are four hour checkouts and are renewable for another four hours.
Boombox Need to play a CD or listen to the radio? These boomboxes are four hour checkouts and are renewable for another four hours.
Tripods Having a difficult time keeping the camcorder still?T hese are four hour checkouts and are renewable for another four hours.
Slide Projectors Yes, we are not kidding, we have slide projectors. These are four hour checkouts and are renewable for another four hours.
