

Students majoring in marketing at Carthage not only master essential marketing concepts, but they also receive a solid foundation in business theories and human behavior.
The marketing curriculum includes courses in marketing principles, advertising, market research, accounting, economics, organizational management and information systems. Marketing majors also take courses in financial management, geography, and psychology or sociology.
Carthage’s location gives marketing students excellent internship and career opportunities. Carthage is located midway between Chicago and Milwaukee in one of the major business corridors of the United States.
Marketing students can join Pi Sigma Epsilon, the only national, co-ed professional fraternal organization for marketing professionals. Pi Sig offers students opportunities to practice management and leadership skills, meet business executives, and gain experience that will enhance their careers in the business world.
