Family Fun Night March 12

Master storyteller Jean-Andrew of StoryLore will present a program of Booktales during Friday Family Fun Night March 12. Jean-Andrew will draw tales from books that were once told by heart. Add a little voice magic, a few props, and the power of tales well-told, and listeners will be drawn into worlds of wonder.

Carthage hosts Friday Family Fun Night on most Friday evenings during the school year. Themed activities take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Hedberg Library's Niemann Media Theatre. The library and N.E. Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center will be open from 6 to 10 p.m. Families can peruse the books in the Center for Children's Literature or use the computers. In the TARC, families can go swimming, play basketball or racquetball, or use the indoor track and cardio equipment.
