Seniors majoring in environmental science will present their senior theses from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 8, in Straz 218.

Amanda Eigner will discuss the direct and indirect effects of the striped cucumber beetle on the reproduction of butternut squash.

Nicole Lowen will discuss the future of water use in the Great Lakes Basin considering the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Basin Water Resources Compact.

Samantha Miller will present on the effects of Rhamnus cathartica (common buckthorn) stand age on decomposition.

Renee Asmann will discuss the transmittance of Chronic Wasting Disease in white-tailed deer through the courtship ritual.

Stephanie Herte will discuss assessing the effectiveness of a storm water basin to eliminate wastewater overflows.

Lindsay Bennetts will present on the effectiveness of outdoor education for teaching to multiple intelligences.

The entire Carthage community is invited to attend.
