The H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art presents “Creating in the Wild Zone” Feb. 2-March 12. This exhibition, in celebration of Women's History Month, features the works of Carthage female faculty and staff.
An opening reception will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10. A special speaker series will be held in conjunction with this exhibit. Read more about the Models of Leadership Speaker Series Feb. 7-March 8.

Creativity is the great unifier for many women. This exhibition celebrates the 2011 National Women's History Project theme, "Our History is Our Strength." This curated exhibit highlights the artistic talents of women whose efforts help make Carthage a center of learning. It shows how the act of creating is central to a life of inquiry and curiosity. Works in all media are included.
Special guest curator Connie Wolfe is a Chicago artist and adjunct assistant professor of art at Carthage.

The H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art is located at Carthage, south of A. F. Siebert Chapel (see campus map). Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening, and 1-4 p.m. Saturday.
