Let's Read Math: Fun with Math Through Reading and Art

January 27, 2011

Join Carthage faculty and students as they present workshops combining children's books, games and art to help children explore math concepts. Families and their children ages 4 through 10 are invited to attend any or all of our workshops, held in the Niemann Theatre at the Hedberg Library. If you would like to pre-register your child and receive e-mail reminders of workshops, please contact Prisca Moore at pmoore@carthage.edu or (252) 551-5976

The goal of Let's Read Math™ is to spread a joy for mathematics among children and the adults who care for them—at school, at home, or in various out-of-school settings. These workshops are supported by Carthage and a Community Action Grant from the American Association for University Women. The workshops are free. No reservation is required. Refreshments will be served.
