Report names Carthage one of Wisconsin's top institutions based on the mid-career salaries of graduates

Carthage graduates have a mid-career median salary of $75,500, according to the report. Carthage graduates have a starting median salary of $38,200.

When it comes to salaries of graduates, Carthage ranks among the top institutions in the state. Carthage alumni earn one of the highest mid-career median salaries among graduates from Wisconsin colleges and universities, according to a recent report by PayScale Inc.

The 2011-2012 PayScale College Salary Report also names Carthage a top Midwestern college based on salary potential.

Carthage graduates have a mid-career median salary of $75,500, according to the report. Carthage graduates have a starting median salary of $38,200, the survey found.

Seattle-based PayScale Inc., an online source of compensation data, looked at the salaries of graduates from more than 1,000 schools in the United States. The report includes data from graduates with bachelor's degrees but no higher degrees, who are full-time employees in the United States. Graduates who are 15 years post-graduation are considered mid-career. Salary is calculated as the sum of compensation from base salary, bonuses, profit-sharing, commissions and overtime.
