Children's book author Julia Durango visits Carthage March 9

Ms. Durango is the award-winning author of the books Dream Away, Under the Mambo Moon, Go-Go Gorillas, Cha-Cha Chimps, and Yum! Yuck!

Celebrated children's book author Julia Durango will visit Carthage on Friday, March 9. She will speak at 6 p.m. in Hedberg Library.

Ms. Durango is the award-winning author of the books Dream Away, Under the Mambo Moon, Go-Go Gorillas, Cha-Cha Chimps, and Yum! Yuck!

Her visit is sponsored by the Center for Children's Literature at Carthage. Other public events will take place at the Kenosha Literacy Council and the Boys and Girls Club. For more information on these events call John Stewig at (262) 552-5480.

Books will be available for purchase and for autographing. There is no charge to attend.
