‘Ghost Bike,' a play exploring loss and death, premieres at Carthage College this weekend

The Journal Times — Feb. 16, 2012
"Ghost Bike" by Laura Jacqmin makes its world premiere at Carthage College Feb. 17. Jacqmin, a Chicago-based, award-winning playwright, wrote "Ghost Bike" while serving as an artist-in-residence with Carthage's Theatre Department this school year. And Carthage students have been involved in many aspects of its production, both on and off the stage.

'Incredible' — Carthage students on hand to see space shuttle launch

It started with a rumble and the earth seemed to shake beneath their feet. Then they heard it. A great roaring sound growing louder, filling their ears. And the next thing they knew, the three students from Carthage College were watching in awe as NASA's last space shuttle voyage launched into orbit Friday.
