Carthage Microgravity Program

Outreach Activities

As part of NASA's Systems Engineering Educational Discovery program, students go into area schools to talk about the experiments they conducted aboard NASA's Weightless Wonder microgravity aircraft.

Every Carthage Microgravity Team has participated in outreach activities, including classroom presentations in elementary, middle and high schools; leading activities at Carthage's Friday Family Fun Night, and presentations at Natural Science Colloquia. Flying High

"A lot of times when you tell people your dream is to be an astronaut, they look at you and think you're ridiculous. It was nice to hear someone who's been there say, 'You guys can do this. You can't give up.' It was awesome."
