

CARTHAGE COLLEGE SPIRIT TEAM HISTORY
2001- Under the direction of Coach Amy Carter, the Dance Team was combined with the Cheerleading Team and the Torchie Mascot Team to form the Carthage College Spirit Team.
2002- The Dance Team was coined the Carthage College "Red Hots."
2004- The Spirit Team’s first time participating in UDA Camp at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
2009- The Red Hots first time competing at the UPA Americup National Dance Competition in Minneapolis. The Red Hots took 5th place in the Jazz Division.
2010- Carthage Spirit Team traveled to Stevens Point with Carthage Basketball Team to perform at the NCAA Sweet Sixteen Tournament for Division 3.
2011- The Red Hots competed at the UDA Chicagoland Dance Competition at the University of Illinois at Chicago. The Red Hots took 1st place in the Jazz Division.
2011- The Spirit Team's first ever formal to celebrate and recognize the team's accomplishments.
2012- The Red Hots competed at the UDA Chicagoland Dance Competition at the University of Illinois at Chicago. The Red Hots took 1st place in both Jazz and Pom Divisions.
