Carthage Family Fun Night

Carthage hosts Family Fun Nights for the community on most Friday evenings during the school year. Families can enjoy fun and educational activities in Hedberg Library, browse the collection in the Center for Children's Literature, use the library computers, or swim and play basketball in the TARC. Learn more.

Themed activities are often hosted by Carthage student organizations, including the Chemistry Club, Student WEA, Society of Physics Students, Geography Club, and more.

On Jan. 31, 2011, Carthage hosted a Winter Wonderland for Family Fun Night. Children learned about how cultures around the world celebrate this cold, dark time of year.

"Don't Hate Me" Misunderstood Animals

On March 11, Carthage hosted "Don't Hate Me!," a Friday Family Fun Night about misunderstood animals. The Racine Zoo introduced children to animals with bad reputations, so they could learn about these animals' roles in their ecosystems.
