2011 International Dinner
Carthage's International Friendship Society (IFS) held the sixth annual International Dinner on April 9, 2011. The dinner, "Health is Hope: An Evening for Healing," featured live cultural entertainment, an international cuisine buffet, raffles, prizes and a silent auction.
Ethereal Fauna: Art and the Animal Within
More than 40 Chicago-area artists explore the inner animal muse within
each of us in a new exhibit at the H.F. Johnson Gallery of Art on the
Carthage College campus in Kenosha, Wis. The artists have created unique
metaphorical portraits of their animal spirit, or that of another
person, place, thing, or even society as a whole.
Honors Convocation 2012
On April 22, 2012 Carthage held its All-College Honors Convocation in Siebert Chapel. The convocation is held on a yearly basis to honor scholarship winners and to award a wide variety of other honors to Carthage students and faculty. Some of the highest honors given at the convocation include the Research and Creativity Awards, the College Leadership Award, the College Scholarship Award and the Distinguished Faculty Teaching Award.
