Celestine Ananda ’20, a physics major and member of the Carthage College CaNOP CubeSat team has been selected to represent the state of Wisconsin to legislators in Washington, D.C. and speak on behalf of the American space program. She will travel to D.C. later this month as part of the Wisconsin delegation of Citizens for Space Exploration (CSE).

CSE is a grass-roots organization comprising people from across the country who come together to encourage legislative support for America’s space flight program. For the last 25 years, CSE members have traveled to D.C. to meet with Congressional representatives and share their passion for space exploration. The group is made up of students, entrepreneurs, educators, local elected officials, and aerospace industry representatives.
