Attend the Carthage Philharmonic Concert tomorrow
This concert will feature the 2020 Concerto Competition winner, violinist Azniv Khaligian ’22 in Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “The Lark Ascending.” Recreating bird songs, Azniv will fly over the finger board as she balances serene melodies with displays of technical virtuosity. The Carthage Philharmonic will also send the audience to the Scottish islands through Felix Mendelssohn’s “The Hebrides Op. 26.” Rounding out recital is “Hungarian March” from Hector Berlioz’s “La damnation de Faust.”
Tickets to the concert are free and must be obtained in advance. To obtain your reserved tickets, please visit www.carthage.edu/tickets 24/7 or call the Fine Arts Box Office at 262-551-6661 from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Join us also from home through our livestream.
