Carthage/Parkside Sustainability Summit Students, faculty, staff, and members of the Kenosha community are invited to attend the second annual Carthage Sustainability Summit from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 1, in the Todd Wehr Center.

Register to attend

This event features numerous speakers, booths, and raffle prizes to benefit the Eco Justice Center in Racine. The overarching theme of this year’s summit is finding community, both in sustainability as well as in the natural world.

As the world more rapidly adopts sustainable ventures such as renewable energy, land conservation projects, and eco-friendly consumerism, it is becoming increasingly apparent that we will not only be subject to a sustainable society, but contribute to it. This summit explores what the greener future will look like, what our roles will be inside our own community, and how we can equip ourselves now — as individuals, families, and businesses — to reap the economical and physiological benefits of a cleaner world.
