Nurse Pinning Ceremony
Each nursing graduate was pinned with the Carthage pin. The ceremony is a way to welcome new nurses into the profession and traces back to the 12th century. The wearing of the pin represents the right and readiness to serve others and the assumption of the responsibility to provide excellent care.
