Introduction to Athletic Training
The course introduces the student to the field of athletic training. Basic athletic training principles, history of the profession, and the role of the athletic trainer in the healthcare setting will be covered. The student is required to observe three separate athletic training experiences.
Structural kinesiology is the study of the muscles as they are involved in movement. This class will cover in detail the origin, insertion, function, and innervation of the major skeletal muscles as they relate to human movement.
