Carthage students have many opportunities to present their research findings, both on campus and off. Students have also had success publishing research results with faculty.

On-campus Presentation Opportunities

Students who participate in Carthage’s Summer Undergraduate Research Experience, or SURE, present their findings in a fall poster session attended by the Carthage community.

Every spring, Carthage holds Celebration of Scholars, an event founded in 2011 to highlight research and other original work by students and faculty. More than 150 Carthage students and faculty shared their work in 2016.

Off-campus Presentation Opportunities

Carthage students are regularly invited to present their findings at regional, national, and international conferences, including Posters on the Hill, the Midstates Math and Science Consortium Undergraduate Research Symposia, and more.

Publication Opportunities

Students and faculty have had their research published in many journals.
