Management
Carrying out the Carthage business program’s mission to develop the best-prepared students in the Midwest, management majors follow the College’s proprietary READYTM (Real-world Experience And Developing You) curriculum.
Professors embed practical projects in their classes and tailor internships to student interests. Aspiring business leaders become fluent in industry-standard programs like SalesForce. com, SPSS Statistics, Microsoft Project, and Google AdWords.
Beyond the classroom
Student Organizations
As part of the READY concept, students can gain professional experience right on campus.
- Velocity Consulting: Work at the first 100 percent student-run, full-service consulting company in the country.
- Enactus: Address global problems from an economic perspective with this international nonprofit.
- Pi Sigma Epsilon: Join the campus chapter of this professional coed sales and marketing fraternity.
Study Abroad
Faculty regularly lead business-focused study tours to countries like Sweden, China, South Africa, and England. There, students can visit top international companies and meet with senior executives.
Scholarships
Incoming students can enter the Business Scholarship competition, with one award covering full tuition award and two others covering $20,000 per year.
