Scholarships
You can apply for photography scholarships through Feb. 14, 2025.
The scholarship portfolio reviews take place on Nov. 9, 2024 and Feb. 8, 15, and 22, 2025. In-person and virtual portfolio reviews are available. If you visit Carthage before Feb. 17, please contact us at carthageart@carthage.edu to set up an alternate review time and studio tour.
Note: students entering midyear should apply for a scholarship in November. The results of all interviews and portfolio reviews will be included in the applicant’s financial aid package.
Photography scholarships are awarded based upon a review of the applicant’s art portfolio by members of the Photography and Film and New Media faculty. You will discuss your artwork with a faculty member, answering questions about your ideas, materials, process, and aspirations as a developing photographer and artist. If you are on campus for your review you will tour the program’s facilities.
