Carthage is committed to providing a strong foundation in the liberal arts for all of its students, which includes providing students with opportunities to study overseas to complement the education they receive here in Kenosha.

Spend a semester or an academic year on any continent except Antarctica. Past students have studied in locations as far-flung as Argentina, Australia, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Egypt, England, France, Germany, Ghana, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Peru, Senegal, and Spain. 

Carthage is affiliated with several reputable institutions in order to provide you with academically rigorous, high-quality international programs in a variety of locations around the globe.


Plan Your Travel

Carthage students have the opportunity to study abroad all over the world, including Chile. A successful study abroad experience begins with careful planning and research, usually a year or more prior to the anticipated semester abroad. With the assistance of our Director of Education Abroad, Erik Kulke, you will be able to identify a program that is appropriate for your academic, social, and professional interests.

Additionally, the College offers a class (MLA 2200: Cultural Awareness Orientation) to you for your international experience and to arm you with the knowledge and tools necessary to deal with the differences (and associated challenges) you will encounter.
