Maintenance Requests

Carthage uses the work order management system SchoolDude for all work order requests*. It is designed to be fast and user-friendly, and allows you to see the status of your work request at any time. Please utilize this request system for all needs associated with the Carthage physical plant functions including room repairs, key and lock issues*, cleaning services, and moving/office relocations.

Scope of Work

The Maintenance Department performs cyclical preventative maintenance on various campus systems. It also provides services required for life safety and other regulatory compliance issues.

The department repairs campus equipment and facilities. Using the department’s trade experience, Maintenance staff also assist in the repair of department-specific equipment.

In coordination with the Todd Wehr Center Office, the department provides special event support services by providing setup and tear-down crews, building event support via trade supervision and access to the department’s resources.

In a community as complex as Carthage, there are various departments that may be responsible for technical or department specific tasks. In an effort to assist you in your service needs, we have prepared a responsibility matrix listing who to contact for your issue.
