Carthage offers the following meal plans for residential and commuter students. Meal points can be used at any food vendor on campus, including Starbucks, Einstein Bros. Bagels, and the all-you-can-eat Caf.
Residential Student Meal Plans
Resident Standard Meal Plan
70 points per week + 900 flexible points = 3,210 available points
Under the Standard Meal Plan, each residential student will receive a total of 3,210 points during the academic year. Each point represents a dollar in purchasing power at any food vendor on campus.
Each week, 70 points will be added to a residential student’s ID card. The weekly points can be used only during the week that they are added to the ID card.
An additional 900 non-refundable flexible points are also added to your ID card yearly — 450 points in the beginning of fall semester and 450 points at the beginning of spring semester. Any non-refundable flexible points remaining at the end of fall semester will be added to your spring semester non-refundable flexible point total at the beginning of spring semester.
Resident Premium Meal Plan
90 points per week + 1,000 flexible points = 3,970 available points
Carthage also offers a premium dining plan. The premium plan is the same as the standard plan except instead of 70 points per week and 900 flexible points per year, the premium plan offers 90 points per week and 1,000 flexible points, for a total of 3,970 points per academic year.
Commuter Student Meal Plans
Commuters can choose between two block plans for their meals. Please note: The block plan is non-refundable at the end of the academic year for any unused points.
- Commuter Plan A — 1,900-point block plan
- Commuter Plan B — 950-point block plan
Want to supplement your meal plan with extra funds? You can put Carthage Cash on your Carthage ID card to use at on-campus eateries and in the Carthage bookstore.
